A cozy escape with a twist
Waking up to the aroma of breakfast was delightful! The charming cottage, complete with a lovely outdoor seating area, made our stay feel uniquely special. We loved the cozy atmosphere!
However, the bathroom cleanliness could have been better. Dust on the moldings and lack of thorough cleaning upon arrival left us disappointed.

The Ivy Manor Inn felt like a hidden gem right in the heart of Bar Harbor. My room, a cozy Queen Room, was well-kept and had a lovely decor. The outdoor areas were really inviting with fire pits that added a nice touch for evening gatherings. I loved that I could walk to many restaurants and shops easily. However, the breakfast offerings were pretty basic, and the coffee could definitely use some improvement. At times, the noise from the street made it a bit challenging to relax, especially with the bustling summer tourist traffic. I also noticed the heating in my bathroom was a bit lackluster during colder evenings. Overall, the charm of the inn overshadowed these minor inconveniences, but focusing on the breakfast and noise would enhance the stay even more.

Perfect for couples wanting a retreat
We had an amazing time when we stayed here. The staff left a sweet note and a bottle of wine to celebrate my husband's birthday, a nice personal touch that made the trip special.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but worth it for the experience.

We had an amazing time exploring the local golf courses. The beautiful landscaping at Kebo Valley Golf Club was a hit with my wife, and the staff made us feel right at home. Our room was perfect for our little baby, and the evening fire pit gave us a chance to unwind.
In my wife’s opinion, the breakfast options could be better.

Excellent Location with Charming Atmosphere
My partner and I spent two nights in a cozy Queen room, and we loved how everything was within walking distance, from great dining options to the waterfront. The staff welcomed us with a complimentary glass of champagne, adding a splendid touch to our arrival. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor fire pit area with live music, which created a charming and social atmosphere during our stay. However, the breakfast could be improved with some better coffee options.

The location is perfect for exploring the nearby attractions, with quick access to local shops and restaurants. Unique amenities like fire pits on the lawn and live music events in the front yard offer a charming evening atmosphere for unwinding after a busy day.
The room itself felt outdated and lacked proper cleanliness, with ants on the floor and sticky wooden surfaces. Sheets didn’t fit the bed properly, resulting in a rather uncomfortable sleeping experience. Additionally, noise from the outdoor events and bar would be a distraction for those seeking peace, especially during evening hours. There were also frustrations with the limited breakfast options and the inconsistency in room quality compared to their high pricing, making it necessary to manage expectations while staying here.
